Right now the required amount that I need is about $500 per month for the basics. YWAM is a completely volunteer-based organization and I don't get paid at all for what I do. This $500 amount will cover what I will be paying for to live, eat, do laundry, have internet & phone, etc. Other things that will come up from time to time in addition to the basics are opportunities to teach overseas, possible doctors visits (hopefully not but it is good to be prepared), and I am also praying for a car (nothing fancy just very practical). If you feel led to give please pray about it. The Lord may speak a specific amount to you.
Another big way that I need support is through prayer. I can never have too much prayer coverage in my life. Right now I am asking the Lord to really give me wisdom and confidence. I need God's wisdom in how to correctly teach His word to the students and point them closer to the Lord and not myself or other people. I also need the Lord's confidence to stand up in front of the students and effectively communicate to them what the Lord has spoken to me. Speaking has always terrified me anyway, and to realize that the words that come out of my mouth could potentially help shape someone's life puts the fear of God upon me in a huge way. I believe this is a good thing but I also do not want an unhealthy fear to in anyway paralyze me. Please pray that my confidence would come from the Lord and that my words would just be His words spoken through me.
